I tried it natively targeting z900,z10,z13,z14,z17 with Fedora+GCC16 as stage 0
compiler.

For the sake of reproducibility what commit were you using for stage 0 compiler
and for gcc-16-20260718?  I will give it a try under AlmaLinux 8.10.  If that
is also not reproducible I could give it a try under Qemu in case this is a
Qemu bug.
