            Bug ID: 126507
Summary: [OpenACC] Accept 'dtype' as alias for 'device_type'
           Product: gcc
           Version: 17.0
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: openacc
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: c
Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
Reporter: burnus at gcc dot gnu.org
CC: sebastian.galindo143 at gmail dot com, tschwinge at gcc dot gnu.org
  Target Milestone: ---

OpenACC since 2.5 states:

The 'device_type' clause may be abbreviated to 'dtype'.

Currently, GCC does not handle it. On the other hand, searching GitHub only
finds Clang and Flang testcases for this, i.e. it does not seem to be very
popular - and, hence, of low priority.

However, just treating device_type and dtype identical in the front end should
be enough, i.e. it is simple to implement.
