I decided to take a fressh look at this one and do some more testing. While
doing so I found some examples that fail. I also found an unrelated bug. I am
searching through the bugzilla to see if it is already posted. If not I will
create a new PR for it and reference this one.

I want to rework this fix and roll it into one. It will be a while as 2 am
still working 53800 version 2
