there was a 9% exec time slowdown of the imagick_r SPEC 2017 benchmark between
commits

r17-2606-g2c421a5cbe9d2b
r17-2674-g36f131b48e6a84

when compiled with -Ofast -march=native -g on an Intel Ice Lake (3rd generation
Xeon) machine.

This is a regression against GCC 16. See the comparison
