The code I am developing is to run in a static FastCGI process and I
am declaring the element objects as members of an object being reused
for a sequence of http-requests.

For now I have done a small hack to allow nested tables which as a
side effect resulted in having to manually control the state
transition. This I have hidden behind a macro also doing output. 

If I get any bright ideas, I'll let you know ;)
