Just picking one example: The indentation of the second <td> element is
odd, should align with the first one.

Here I'd drop the second half sentence ("so code can be..."). If you want
to retain it, something like "...branches; code needs to be updated...",
though I'd really drop this.
Fine with these changes, and thank you for creating the new
porting_to.html page!
