Hi!

This bug has a Target Milestone of 18.1, so is currently blocking the GDB 18
release.

I've read through the bug and cannot understand why this would need to block
the release as this appears to be:

  (a) related to which version of TCL we use in the testsuite, the release will
just require whatever is the minimum right now, and

  (b) there's already been some commits related to this bug report, so it's not
clear if this bug is actually finished with.

If anyone actively involved in this bug would like to either mark the bug as
done, or clear the target milestone then that would be awesome.  Alternatively,
if people feel the target milestone is justified, could you add a comment
explaining why and who's working on this issue.

If there's no responses then I will clear the Target Milestone early next week.
 The bug would remain open to work on after that, but it would no longer block
the release.
