Help wanted!

Hi,
 
 I have a alpha workstation and have some gnu software on /usr/local/bin
bought from Copag Comp.
 gcc  is version 2.9-gnupro-99r1
 
 When I try to compile gdb-5.2.1, got fail from configure. The error
information is installation or configuration
Problem; compiler does not work. (see an attachment file)
 Then I want to update my gcc to 3.0, but could not pass configure phase
and got the same error.
 
 No I have no way, beg your help: How to fix it?
