We'll have to wait for a developer to direct us on a next step on that bad allocation. Since you are a Windoze user, you might want to try downloading the PortableApps variant of Gramps. Try running Gramps from a Thumbdrive and import your backup there. (It'll be much slower than running from an internal drive... but not unbearably so.) This will eliminate the possibility of a corrupted file in your Gramps installation or add-ons. https://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Download#PortableApps.com It is nice to have copy of your research that fits in your pocket...
