And have you tried the exif tool mentioned earlier? If it's the same issue, we must have a DLL that throws an exception on this, which can either be caught, or prevented. And maybe there's even an updated version for that. Also, to anyone, there is a tool that can show which DLL caused a particular crash in Windows. Do you know what that is? It's meant for advanced users, not just programmers, and it may tell a bit more.
