Anyone have suggestions. Can you describe the steps that you took? When I want to update my tree on my laptop, I use the database manager to create a new tree, and then import a backup file in that. I always use backups without media, and sync that media, like all my other documents and images, through the cloud. When the import in the new tree looks OK, I remove the old one with the database manager, and rename the new one to its usual working name.
