And it doesn't help when people post incomplete lines that contain copy and paste errors :-) Sorry. I normally edit the sources.list file and copy down the "deb" line, and add "-src" to it. But this is on Debian or Ubuntu. You will probably have better mileage with Enno's suggestion, and use the GUI software manager provided with Mint. Go into "settings", and tick the relevant box to use source packages. Sorry, I have never used Mint, so I don't know what software manager/centre they give you by default. Debian & Ubuntu these days just use "Gnome Software" I think. In Ubuntu they also install Gnome Software addons to use Flatpack & Snap packages in addition to the Debian based packages. But there are other Software Managers/installers like Synaptic. This will probably be better than "command line Greek"!
