SVG and VG files created by Graphview reference images to a file on the Windows (C:) drive called "....../normal" where all images ( .png ) are stored. Therefore when *sharing only* the SVG file, images are missing. I have NOT found a setting to embed images withing Graphview to fix the problem. Inkspace presents the same problem. When opening an Graphview SVG file, a message of "Linked Image Not Found" replaces each image. My SVG family tree file contains many images. Can one import the above file "...../normal" and embed into Inkspace file? New to Inkspace, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you........Dan On 20/01/2022 22:25, Dan Mittler wrote: > Generated a vertical family tree using Graphview and includes the > name and image for each person in the tree. So on your own machine, the images are where they are specified, but no-one else has them on their machines, so the links fail. A bit like using local filenames for images in a HTML document: they work on the author's machine but nowhere else. Is there a setting for image location, or "embed images" or something that might fix this?
