I suspect that everyone records their ancestral military service & losers differently. You'd need to be very consistent in how it was logged to write a useful custom filter. For instance, I added a Cause of Death Event. Those include KIA but there are other war losses: MIA, died in recovery, military loss to disease, POW death, death in service (exhaustion, etc.). And for many deaths, I have no proof it was war-related but the dates & locations imply that. I do have 'Military Service' type Events recorded which helps too. But those records for my ancestors are likewise of varying quality. -Brian On Mon, May 30, 2022 at 11:00, Kyle Davenport<[email protected]> wrote: Just curious if anyone already has a "Memorial Day" filter for a report about our relatives who died in wartime. -- Gramps-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gramps-users https://gramps-project.org -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... -- Gramps-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gramps-users https://gramps-project.org
