Re: GED labels

 The APIDs are unique Ancestry proprietary IDs. It means that the Ancestry GEDCOM export does not export the fully qualified Source citation, just a pointer to where that data can be viewed. But viewed only by logged in subscribers. It is a way that they protect reasons for their subscribers will continue to pay the monthly fee. Even though Gramps does not interface directly with Ancestry, it preserves all those unrecognized GEDCOM tags as Notes. 


So for that  .ged filetype file, the line with:
 
2 SOUR @S_xxxxxxx@3 _APID 1,YYYY: ZZZZZZZZZ 


It is a Source with an APID that includes a database number (YYYY) and a record number (ZZZZZZZZZ) in the format "database::record".
