Gramps plugin on Windows different from Linux?

Hi all,

I've written an export-Plugin for Gramps that I wanted to provide to a 
co-researcher.

While I can install the Plugin by copying it into the relevant directory 
on both Gramps 4.2 and 5.1 on my Linux machine, it seems he can't on 
Gramps 5.1 on Windows.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
