You may need to restart your Mac, because GTK stays in memory when you restart Gramps, and there may be another alternative, which is setting this environment variable: GTK_OVERLAY_SCROLLING=0 I have no idea where you need to do that in OS X, but you might find more about that on our wiki. This variable name (note the underscores) is mentioned in many articles, including this one: https://bgstack15.wordpress.com/2020/09/18/always-show-gtk3-scrollbars/ This also mentions another variable that you can change in settings.ini, to make sure that the slider either jumps (warps) to where you clicked (if true), or that a click does a page up or down, depending on where you clicked (if false).
