WikiTree separates given & middle names. Because the GEDCOM 5.5.1 standard format does not support this, they have a custom "_MIDN" field. But rather than write the standard format for "GIVN" (with extra data in custom fields to disambiguate how to parse the concatenated "NAME" data), the WikiTree export omits the middle name data from the "GIVN" pre-parsed field. This creates a conflict. Another user wrote up how to do a post-process to convert the WikiTree dialect of GEDCOM into standard format: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1038205/wikitree-gedcom-exports-and-lost-middle-names-solved They also had a report a decade ago in reply to a Gramps user where the naming convention for the exported file had problems with accented names.
