It is probably the Mediawiki CSS that for a logged out visitor. (MediaWiki suddenly logged me out today too.) I find its default style for visited/unvisited links hard to read. Scroll to the footer of the page and toggle between Mobile and Desktop mode. The look will change dramatically. (There is only a login option at the top for 1 of those 2 modes.)
