you have probably already determined that the Narrative Web does not allow
you to exclude the note records from being included.

You can create a database that can exclude all notes, and thus not
available to the Narrative Web.

Create a custom note filter.

General Filters >> Every Note

In the Define filter window, check the *Return values that do not match the
filter rules *option.

Then create an export of your database. Use the output format Gramps
(XML)In the options window, set the Note filter to the filter to exclude
all notes. (You can set other filters if needed.)

Then you can create a new database/tree and import the file you just
created and run the Narrative Web from this tree.

The filter I created is crude. There MAY be note records that you actually
do want in the Narrative web. You may find you need to finetune the note
filter.i.e. exclude all notes attached to people, families and/ events.
