Chart not showing second family

 Running Gramps 5.15 on Ubuntu 22.04 



 I have a female ancestor who had her first child out of wedlock. She married and had several children with her husband. 



 When I switch to Charts I can see either her first child and his descendants, or I can see her husband and second family by choosing him from People and then switching to Charts. 



 ID for woman is same, so definitely same person. Marriage shows both her and her spouse. 



 Father of first child is unknown, so is this why my chart doesn't show both her families - because the first one isn't actually a family in Gramps?
