 It isn't orphaned per se. But the hosting changed its setup and our list owner lost access to some of the advanced features. It has been an issue for awhile.

Most of the Support traffic that used to go through gramps-user  now goes through a discourse.gramps-project.org Discourse forum.  The gramps-bugs maillist never took off. (MantiBT is a better platform for managing bug reports.)  However, the gramps-announce and gramps-devel maillists are still used for important traffic.


There were a number of people working on clearing up this person's particular subscription problem.  Then Ken Lind started being a putz and possibly set up an autoresponder.  So I think a lot of us lost interest in helping him.
