Re: Some guy that evidently wants to be removed from the mailing list

I don't know how many users there are like me.  I read what you post, get tips from the occasional hyperlink to a project, but don't comment.  I'm certainly not a power programmer, so I'm just looking for tools that someone creates that could be useful for me.

Just a perspective.

I wonder whether revisiting the idea that I previously suggested, of
moving the lists to groups.io, might be worthwhile.

Whilst this list was previously quantified as having about 680
subscribers, I think that less that about 20, are active (and, I readily
accept that I could be wrong, in that estimation), so, I wonder whether,
if the list was moved (that is, excluding the list archive, but starting
a new list to replace this one, and, similarly, for the announce list,
at groups.io), and, finding how many people subscribe to the replacement
lists; whether the number of subscriptions to the replacement lists,
would approach the threshold of 100, being the limit for free list
hosting at groups.io .
