 I think you have it.  But just to be clear, we are talking about adding him as "Father/Partner1" in 3 separate Families, not 3 marriage events under his 1st Family or under his Person. 


There are 2 persons with 3 marriages in the  example.gramps  tree. That importable tree is provided with most Gramps installer packages:    Matthias Ball, Jr.; and   Joan Lorinda Webb

To find other examples of multiple marriages, you might find it useful to use the Configure to enable the in "Number of Marriages" column in the flat list "People" view mode.

Hi folks:

New face in the group with one quick question. Working my way through

married three times. I'm guessing that death or divorce ended the first
two. Is there any special step to associating three marriages with this
