Of its own limits Perplexity  resisted answering.  However, the 'tokens' limit of of ChatGPT is 8,192 while Perplexity's is 2,000 tokens. So one assume it would choke on less.

This kind of analysis is something I would do inside Gramps. Create a filter for males probably alive during the years of the war, with any events in the USA during their lifespan, and born more than 12 years before the war started. 

If you need an external list then: Change the Display Preferences to format the name as you want for your list. Export the filtered view as a CSV list.


This maillist doesn't make sharing filters easy.  You might want to visit the Gramps Discourse forum. There are multiple discussions about filtering for such data:
