The original Gramps ( for Linux, macOS and Windows desktop/laptop computers) is designed to be a single-user database. If you want to make the accessible to other people on your home network, it takes some effort. If you want to publish you research to a website, it takes SIGNIFICANT effort. To set up collaborative access via hosting with the new Gramps Web for servers, it takes enormous effort. Sharing your genealogy isn't something you can do by accident in Gramps.
