Please expand on "Neither work properly (yet?)"
Does the install package fail? (If so, with what symptoms?)
Or does Gramps 5.2.2 misbehave? (If so, with what symptoms?)

I have had different problems attempting to upgrade to 5.2.2. I have tried packages from both Tumbleweed and ecsos repositories- Neither work properly (yet?).
