Hello Harvey, > I have had different problems attempting to upgrade to 5.2.2. I have > tried packages from both Tumbleweed and ecsos repositories- Neither > work properly (yet?). I saw exactly the same, with sources/repositories that are not properly signed, and other rather obscure errors, meaning that none the packages can be installed, unless you ignore all sorts of warnings, which is something that I definitely don't recommend. I run an Ubuntu based version of Linux Mint here, and have Fedora in a VM, and in that, the upgrade is pretty safe. And today, I created another VM for openSUSE, and in that the Gramps upgrade was a disaster, so I cancelled it right away. As a software engineer, I normally feel quite comfortable with other Linux versions, but with Leap, even installing git showed so many alarms that I gave up. I wanted to download that to try running Gramps from source, which normally works quite well.
