Hmm. During beta testing the past, Gramps passed a lot of install tests but had problems that were only discovered in actual use. If you could create a new tree, import the example.gramps, and do a couple experiments; that's a much higher level of validation.  
You can delete that test tree afterwards to avoid having GrampsWeb incompatible data on your system.

I can vouch for that.  Did a Fedora 42 install on a new laptop just
yesterday and Gramps 6.0 was the default version to be installed.

I.e.,

    $ sudo dnf install gramps

and 6.0 is what you get.

I have not used it yet, either, mostly since everything I have is
still in 5.2.4 and I don't want to get ahead of gramps-web just yet.
