Hello.

When entering a date, for example, a person's birth or baptism date
(and, the problem applies in each case of date entry that I have found),
when the syntax of the date is not compatible, or not valid, in addition
to the error indicator at the end of the text box, like a red traffic
light, the text that is entered in the box, is not displayed, so,
correcting it, becomes more difficult, and at first, it seems like a bug.

Whilst an option, after the text input box, is available, using the
"Edit date", or whatever, it requires figuring that out, and, involves
going to a new window for the edit, and, it would be better, if the
incorrect date syntax is displayed, whether the incorrect characters are
displayed in red, or, have a squiggly red underscore, like some text
editors use for misspellings, as it would be more helpful, and, would
not appear as a bug whereby no input text is displayed.

Thank you in anticipation.
