Re:connection arcgis and sql server with oledb

This is not exactly related to Free GIS software, to say the
least, and also I'm not sure I understood exactly what's your
problem.
Anyway, if your problem lies on the fact that you don't see in
ArcCatalog a join or relate that you made in ArcMap, then you
don't have any problem. Joins and relates are made as needed
when a map is generated, but are not stored in the database.
They both are stored in the MXD file. So you'll never see them
in ArcCatalog.
