I've tried to think a way to get Grass' capability to my Perl-CLI/GUI, and probably working on this is the best way. I'd like to create some kind of translator, which would make Grass command line functions easy to wrap with Swig. Can Grass use geodata via GDAL? Or is it only the other way around, i.e., GDAL can open Grass data?
