ANNONCEMENT: deegree2: 1st Pre-Release of iGeoPortal standard edition published

The deegree community is happy to annonce the *1st Pre-Release of 
iGeoPortal standard edition of the deegree2 framework*. This is the 
starting point for new releases of OGC web services and clients in deegree2.

deegree iGeoPortal standard edition is the web-client framework based on 
modules within the deegree project. deegree iGeoPortal empowers you to 
setup portals for geospatial data with all kinds of complexity.

The 1st Pre-Release:
- relies on the OGC Web Map Context Standard 1.0
- uses deegree2 functionality inside
- installs easily as Web Archive (war-file)
- is runing on Java 5

Feel free to download at [1] or go to the download page at 
www.deegree.org. Unzip it and put the war-File in your webapps direcorty 
of your application server (Tomcat 5.5 recommended!).
