Just a comment, in my opinion I think command line will always be a
very nice option for those who have some programming skills.
I also believe that Q-GIS is the great trick to bring GRASS for the
masses. I know a lot of people who gave up GRASS because they are
Windows users and found very dificult to install GRASS using Cygwin
stuff.
