I don't need it, but perplexingingly i find myself wanting it to exist.
A friend has a pluggable billing system based on Django, developed for
telecoms billing initially, which he is looking at packaging up for
the django.contrib tree. We keep thinking about the accounting layer
needed on top, but just now it seems like so much yakshaving...
