Re: fink install gmt5 failure

Hi Wolfgang,

First: the issue is not with the gmt5 package description in Fink, but with gdal.
Second: the gdal description has been recently (yesterday) update to use libpng16 and libpng15 has been removed from Fink.
Third: the gmt, gmt5, dcw-gmt and gshhs description files have been updated yesterday as well (gmt versions 4.5.11-5 and 5.1.0-5)
Fourth: the fink mirror site as not updating properly. I think it has not been updated since 14 November, even though many packages have been updated.

What you can do to solve this at this time is to do:

$ fink selfupdate-cvs

This will get the package descriptions through CVS, which is (more or less) up to date.

Then you might still see that tarballs have not been mirrored yet to the fink mirror, but if you insist and ask to find other locations it will finally find them.
