Dear GMT users, I have a question about how can obtain the azimuth of a contours of a gridded surface. I have a grid of a slab depth of chilean subduction zone and I try to obtain the azimuth of the contours and slope of the grid in E-W direction. I'm working with grdgradient and obtain any results, but really I don't sure that's results are right. I hope if possible do you have any ideas or points of view to solve this problems.
