There is such a script in GMT5. It is installed by default, so you should be able to run “gmtlogo” from the command line if you have GMT5 installed. Note 1) This script is meant to be used somewhere inside a GMT script, that means it implies -O -K Note 2) The grey letters GMT will show up as solid (instead of transparent) in most (if not all) PS viewers. Use ps2raster to transform to PDF or PNG and you’ll see the transparency.
