GMT5 and grd2cpt

Hello, I can’t use the grd2cpt -S option with GMT5.1.0 : running a script with a command like grd2cpt $gridfile -Chaxby -S1000/6000/500 > cptfile.cpt gives me « error : bad -S argument ». I try with various grids, with the same results. What’s wrong ?
