Hi GMT users-

Thanks for making the GMT5 release a success - we have had over 6000 unique downloads (outside of fink/macports) since we released it last month.  We expect to release GMT 5.0.2 early next year to address a few bug fixes.

2014 will also see the introduction of the GMT API for Matlab/Octave and the beginning of the GMT Python API. Stay tuned for more information on these and other exciting developments early next year.

Have a great Christmas (or other) break and may GMT produce very nice analyses and plots for you in the new year.
