ps2raster problem (win x64 binaries)

Hello all,
I recently downloaded and installed the gmt 4.5.11 binaries for 64bit 
windows (I run win 7 x64). The binaries are much faster than my old 
cygwin compiled versions (thanks!), but ps2raster seems to have a 
problem. Whenever I call ps2raster, it hangs indefinitely. For example 
see the simple commands below

psbasemap -R0/100/-3.5/3.5 -JX7.0i/4.0i -Bf5a10:"Time 
(hrs)":/f0.5a1:"Temperature (C)":WSen -P > file.ps
ps2raster file.ps -Tf

The postscript file opens with gs just fine, but ps2raster just hangs at 
100% CPU usage. I saw that there was an issue with the mac version of 
ps2raster. Is there is similar problem with the windows binaries? Maybe 
I have made a mistake in my syntax? This syntax used to work in gmt 
4.5.8 though. So far as I can tell, the rest of the binaries work fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
