I posted a feature request in the Trak system, but I suspect I might get a better user response by posting here. I'm trying to figure out a way to quickly make a 3-sigma dynamic edit (of outliers) for data going into a blockmean command. The blockmean command can provide the standard deviation about the mean with the -E option, for every cell. I'd like to ignore (edit) input values outside of 3-sigma (for that cell) and then recompute blockmean. Any ideas on how to do that efficiently?
