Hi Paul, Yep, v4.5.6 as installed from Ubuntu/Debian repository (not updated since 2011!!) I've had a few issues with GDAL & other libraries (not quite dependency hell, but heading in that direction) in my preferred GIS software suite, which includes GMT & a number of other open source tools... Sticking to the unstable repository generally gives me good interoperability & consistency between all the packages, at the cost of not using the very latest versions - which is not usually a problem, but can occasionally bite me - as you noted :-) Cheers, Brent ________________________________ From: Paul Wessel <[email protected]> To: Brent Wood <[email protected]> Cc: Paul Wessel <[email protected]>; [email protected] Sent: Sunday, February 2, 2014 5:53 PM Subject: Re: [GMT-HELP] ps2raster offset with world file after running "gmtset BASEMAP_TYPE inside" > >BASEMAP_TYPE = FRAME_PEN = 1.25p > >I have not tried manually editing the .gmtdefaults4 file to set BASEMAP_TYPE to inside > >Hi Brent- From ChangeLog: 2013-08-23pwessel * gmtset.c:Did not write values to .gmtdefaults4 if BASEMAP_TYPE was graph or inside. so I suspect you are running 4.5.9 still. A few tens of bugs fixed since then. -p To unsubscribe, send the message "signoff gmt-help" to [email protected]
