pstext in GMT5: Bit confused

OK, after a bit of experimenting (and reading he manual a bit more) I worked
it out. 

I feel the help file is a bit convoluted in its expalnation:

-F	
.. Use this option to override these defaults by specifying up to three text
attributes (font, angle, and justification) directly on the command line.
Use +f to set the font (size,fontname,color); if no font info is given then
the input file must have this information in one of its columns.

Simple question:
I have modified an old GMT4 script for GMT5 usage but the updated pstext
commands are not going to plan!

I am piping input of the form:
	x, y, font, angle just, text
Where font is: 
	size,font,color

eg:	148.5  -34.5  10,0,black  90  BR TEXT

But pstext plots (at 148.5 -34,5):
	10,0,black  90 TEXT
Rather than the rotated and justified "TEXT" that I wanted.

What am I missing? - commas, quotes?! Or is this controlled via the -F
option?
