Help to learn GMT on Windows

Dear GMT USERS,

My name is Ema and I am a graduate student in Geophysics.

My main aim of writing you this e-mail is to seek some help on how to get
started with the Generic Mapping Tool program (GMT) on windows. I have
visited the web site and have gone through some materials but none is
detailed enough for starters like me.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with any study material or
hints on how to get started with GMT on windows platform.
