Since I was one of the two persons who replied to your mail, there
is a 50% chance that this is 'directed' to me, but I honestly do not
    understand the question.

And, by the way, the question is not related to the
    Reduce-to-Equator issue.

I have since sought your advice on using GMT but have
not gotten any reply from you.

        Subject: [GMT-HELP] Magnetics Reduce-to Equator

        Date: Thu, 13 Feb 2014 10:42:04 +0000

        Hello,

Are there any plans to add the option for the
reduce-to-equator for magnetics in GMT, when dealing with low
latitude data? There are other tools available to compute the
RTE, assuming a constant inclination/declination, but it would
be nice to see an option like the differential RTE as deployed
          in grdredpol.

Applying the classic or differential RTP over a low latitude
zone generates a very stretched view (eg -R-18/25/-2/22 - West
          Africa).

Any advice on this issue would be welcome.

          Cheers

          Lester
