Misplaced <Style> tags

With a Google Support example in my hand which showed the
<Style> definitions above (outside) any <Folder> tags, I
edited the KML file that gmt2kml created and moved the <Style>
sections to the top of the KML file (just under <Document>),
and this worked!! See

So I think the problem with the KML that gmt2kml produces is that
the <Style></Style> tags exist inside
<Folder></Folder> tags, but shouldn't. Apparently,
Google Earth tolerates the <Style> tags inside <Folder>
tags, but Google Maps does not. Looks like I'll have to be pulling
in the SVN version afterall, once this issue is addressed...
