Hi Ashraf, Add -K to the first line (gmt grdimage Sub.grd -Jm3.3i -Isub_shad.grd -Cibcso.cpt -R -P -B0.6 -K > %ps%) so that the psfile remains open for more layers to be written to it. Remove the -K from the second line (gmt psvelo vel.gmt -Jm3.3i -R -Se.006/0.95/7 -Gblue -L -O -V -p >> %ps%) so that no other layers will be added to the psfile and that it can be closed. in a multilayer file, first command which writes to the psfile needs -K all commands which write "middle" lays need both -K and -O and finally, the last layer should have only -O. Hope this helps, Shahar On Mar 16, 2014, at 12:41 PM, ashraf rateb <[email protected]> wrote: > Sorry for that , this is simple questions about commanda in gmt , as iam new user > i try to generate GPS velocity map on dem area, firstly iam executed the command grdimage to get the dem. map , then when i tried the Psvelo command, its working but doesn't give me > any results, > > its something like this > gmt grdimage Sub.grd -Jm3.3i -Isub_shad.grd -Cibcso.cpt -R -P -B0.6 > %ps% > gmt psvelo vel.gmt -Jm3.3i -R -Se.006/0.95/7 -Gblue -L -K -O -V -p >> %ps% > > Any help? > ashraf To unsubscribe, send the message "signoff gmt-help" to [email protected]
