Re: Pulkovo 1942(58) / Stereo70 projection

Dear Gurus,

I tried many ways, but I'm stuck.

Please find below the parameters I would like to use. I found that this projection use Krassowsky 1940 Ellipsoid, but it did not work in my case.

Test point:

Lat long: 45.05027829579826,25.880820321489765
X,Y (Pulkovo 1942(58) / Stereo70 projection): X: 569377 Y: 394846

Parameters:

[cid:[email protected]]

Dear gurus,

I would like to project using mapproject a X,Y,Z file (25000 pts) from Geographic to UTM coordinates (Pulkovo 1942(58) / Stereo70).

Unfortunately, the gmtset ELLIPSOID do not take into account this projection.

Do you have any idea on how to set my own projection?
