The pstext manual says:
-N: Do NOT clip text at map boundaries [Default will clip].
So all you have to do is not to use -N.

Hi,

I find that pstext (and psxy) are still plotting stuff outside the
region defined by -R.
For example:
echo "-20 20 test" | gmt pstext -N -Gwhite -W -Rk-5/5/-5/5 -JX1 -U > temp.ps

I still see the text in the image, although it is outside the region
defined in -R.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Shahar
